It's an exciting time at Ape Offroad! As you'll see in the press release below, we've been acquired by Nivel. Our business is booming right now! We're working furiously to fulfill orders as fast as we can. Nivel is already adding value by supplying us material that we were having a hard time getting our hands on due to material shortages. Their buying power is helping!
At our facility in Flemmingsburg, KY we're going to be completely focused on manufacturing. Over the course of the next month we'll be transitioning order processing to Octane Ridge – Nivel's distribution arm of the UTV division. That means we'd like to get you set up as an Octane Ridge dealer as soon as its convenient for you and encourage you to place orders through the Octane Ridge website or to call them on the phone at 816-708-0201. A sales rep may contact you to assist with the process. Octane Ridge has got a big assortment of products and can help make life easier for you and supply you with more of the things you need. It'll free up our staff here in Flemmingsburg to stay focused on getting more product shipped faster.
You're probably aware that we recently changed our name from Over Armour to Ape Offroad. Over the course of the next month we're going to be changing it again to Falcon Ridge – a new brand that Nivel is starting that will have a bigger product selection and major marketing support in the future – much more than Ape Offroad could have done when we were an independent company.

Nivel Acquires UTV Accessories Company Ape Offroad
With its fourth UTV acquisition in 2020, Nivel continues to strengthen its newest division
Jacksonville, FL– November 5, 2020 –
Nivel Parts & Manufacturing Co LLC (Nivel) today announced that it has acquired Ape Offroad, (formerly known as Over Armour) a leading supplier of cabs and windshields for the UTV market. The purchase adds to Nivel's strong product line-up in the UTV category, brought on by previous acquisitions of leading UTV players Side By Side Stuff, Octane Ridge, and Seizmik.
Nivel's acquisition continues the company's strategy of consolidating successful niche UTV players to create a seamless and comprehensive product array of UTV parts and accessories. "Nivel Specialty Vehicles is on a path to create an exciting new channel and offering for UTV dealers, distributors and consumers," stated Brent Moore, CEO of Nivel.
Ape Offroad will become part of the new UTV division within Nivel Specialty Vehicles. "This acquisition is a great addition for the Nivel because it increases our product line and ability to satisfy even more customers in a fast-growing category," says Steve Shankin, Executive Vice President of Nivel UTV. With the acquisition, Ape Offroad products will continue to be available through Octane Ridge, Nivel's dealer channel for UTV customers, SideBySideStuff.com, Nivel's retail UTV channel, and through brick and mortar and online dealers.
